- How can you apply lessons from this Assessment to your future career as a health professional?
Tracking my progress for two weeks, lets me see that it wasn’t an easy task. I had to track what days were easy for me to workout, morning, or after work. For me working out in the evening worked out best, as I was able to unwind with my music on, set my calendar with an alert, that today is a workout day. Have the clothes set out for me when I get home from work, prep meals a few days ahead, and pack them in containers, so it’s ready for me when its time to eat. This wasn’t easy, as my partner likes to eat different things, and we made it work by him eating some of the things that I packed for encouragement. Some things that I found challenging? Is working out after a long day of work. I had to talk to myself and think, you don’t have to work out for an hour, even if its 20 minutes, it’s for the wellbeing of health and imagine how great you are going to feel after.
After setting this goal for two weeks, I will continue tracking and try to change the times on the weekends from evening to the morning, so that way, I have the whole day to do other things, and I get the workout out of the way.
How can I apply lessons from this assessment to my future career as a health professional? Little steps to improve your health, makes it worthwhile if it’s for the better to improve in all my dimensions. Small changes, here and there, will make a big difference and put me in a better mood in life.
